Jim’s gift of $100 and instructions to Center for Hospice Care volunteer Roberta Spencer to “do something good” with the money on her 2011 trip to Uganda were the start of the Road to Hope program. That money was used to place George Bazaire in a day school and pay for his uniforms, etc.

Jim and his wife Hilda became George’s official sponsors once the program was officially launched. Because of their support, George has been able to attend school, receive psycho/social support from the PCAU team and look forward to a bright future. They have provided a gift beyond measure.

But perhaps even more importantly, vulnerable children throughout Uganda have been given the gift of hope because of Jim’s generosity. Thank you!
